Another great beer festival in Brazil

It´s no exaggeration to say that the “Festival Brasileiro da Cerveja” which takes place every year in Blumenau (SC) is the largest event directed to the beer lovers in Brazil. The four-day event in March features more than 500 craft and imported labels. Highlights also include the gastronomic and bands that played every day in the festival.

22,500 people passed through the pavilion, and the busiest day of the event was on Saturday, March 24, according to the organization. Highlight among homebrewers included Drei Adler, DUM, Brix, Ogre Beer, Traíra, Stannis, Tormenta, Fortuna, Teckelbier, Lake Side, Tonera, and others.
Among the breweries, BodeBrown, Colorado and Wals were the most popular. The first offered 11 taps of beer and Colorado introduced their new beer – Vixnu. The Wals Brewery brought to 2012 the famous Wals Petroleum, a collaboration beer between Wals and DUM brewery.
The Festival also opened the door for the 1st Meeting of beer bloggers, who are already more than 150 in the country. In a conversation of nearly two hours, it was decided that some joint actions must take place in the coming months.
